Human Resources Information System some times called HRIS. In the past, human resources management process done by manually and using conventional books and maintaining different files. This type of programmes can be easily used and easy to proper control. And also faults are minimum than conventional method. And also using this technique computer operator can easily analyse ads details, update, save and delete details. Not only that any information can be easily transferred among any network and any places of organization. The main advantage is data security. This information system can only access for authorized members. Hence unauthorized person cannot change and obtain particular information.

Disadvantages

This modern system has higher initial cost. Sometimes it is up to 1000$. And also to maintain this system higher skilled knowledge is needed. And to update and analyse informations, there are skilled operators needed. As well as computer attacked virus program can damage system. And also several backups are needed due to the data lost on main server. And to proper control this system specialized computer hardware system is needed. And also some errors and faults can not detect long time. For example some employee is paid incorrect and wrong higher basic salary it is difficult find through thousands of employees. And if computer operator entered fake details it is difficult to find through thousands of information. However human resource information system (H.R.I.S) has more advantages than other conventional methods hence, modern organizations are self motivated to use information technology based human resources information and communication system.
