Corsets are also type of foundation garments with most popular designs and colours among woman’s wear. The basic purposes of corsets are keeping /enhance proper female body shape. This garment covers between waist to breast. Not only that some fat women has large and ugly/ deformed abdomen area gives ugly look and by using corsets con be obtained proper body shape, bulky, strength and rich look of wearer. Some women dresses corsets to obtain aesthetic and sexual attraction though proper shape, design, colour, fabric types etc.

Corsets are also fulfilling basic functions like other type of intimate apparels I can tabulate those functions and performances as below.

And some polyester based corsets are suitable for cold climate and cold air not go to skin through synthetic material of corsets.
·         Aesthetic aspects	Previous page corset pictures shows different styles, colour designs and shapes of corsets. Women always like to dress new thing and they choose different all above told corset types to obtain aesthetic and sexual attraction.
·         Hygiene and medical aspects	Corsets covers breast and protect nipple area and abdomen area and provide good hygienic protection such as preventing virus, bacteria, rash and preventing from any other physical, chemical and biological hazards.
